What cookies do here

A cookie is a small file your browser stores so a site can recognize which session you belong to. OmegleWeb sets cookies for exactly three jobs: keeping your guest session alive mid-match, remembering minor preferences, and counting page visits anonymously. That is the entire list.

The cookies OmegleWeb sets

The strictly necessary kind carries your session through matching — disable those and the service cannot function at all. Preference cookies keep you from answering the same setting twice. Analytics cookies count visits in aggregate and stay anonymous — they show us which pages deserve attention, never who you are.

Cookies from partners

Coin purchases run through an external payment processor, which may set its own cookies to operate checkout and prevent fraud. Those fall under the processor’s own policy, and the card details they guard never reach OmegleWeb.

Saying no, or starting over

Every modern browser can block or wipe cookies from its privacy settings. Block the strictly necessary ones and matching stops working entirely; block the rest and you only lose a few remembered preferences. Wiping cookies also ends your guest session — sometimes that is precisely the point.

Changes and questions

If the cookie setup changes, this page changes with it — the current version always lives here. The bigger data picture sits in the privacy policy, and anything still unclear can go to [email protected] through the contact page.
