Why a short rulebook exists
OmegleWeb puts you face to face with a genuine stranger within seconds. That stays worth doing only while the queue is full of people worth meeting, so these guidelines spell out what earns a welcome back and what earns a removal. They cover video, voice and text equally.
Keep it clean
OmegleWeb is 18+, but it is not an adult content service. Nudity, sexual acts and explicit behavior on camera are banned — and so is requesting explicit material from strangers. Warm, flirty talk between consenting adults is welcome; explicit content is where the line sits, and stepping over it ends the account.
Respect the person across the glass
No harassment, no hate speech, no threats, and no singling someone out for who they are. No means no, on camera and in text alike. When a chat is not for you, skip — one tap, and nobody is owed an explanation. The safety tips page collects the habits that keep good calls good.
No minors, ever
Every caller on OmegleWeb must be 18 or older. Think the person on your screen might be underage? Report the match immediately — it goes straight to human review. Accounts connected to minors get removed and, where the law requires, are referred to the authorities.
No scams, no spam, no recordings
Asking strangers for money, gift cards or off-platform payments is banned outright, as are promotional links and scripted behavior. Just as important: never record, screenshot or restream the person you matched with. A private call remains private on both sides of the glass.
How enforcement works
Reports and blocks all feed human moderation, and repeat offenders leave the matching queue — temporarily on a first offense, permanently when the conduct earns it. The help center walks through the reporting and blocking mechanics one step at a time.
